A humorous story about the power of banning together and the danger of only looking out for yourselves. The Little Guys are proud of how strong they are together. They can do anything. But that also means they can take things too far, picking fights, stealing from others, and being bullies. After a humbling event, the Little Guys realize they are strong together but even stronger when they work with the animals around them.

As always, Brosgol’s illustrations are fantastic. I loved the designs of the Little Guys.

The message of the book is fairly subtle, but acts as a nice opening for different conversations about bullying, in-groups and out-groups, community, and greed.

A nice little nuanced picture books with fantastic artwork. Perfect for fans of Brosgol’s style.
