Another gorgeous book in the Tea Dragon series. I cannot get enough of this world. The characters could just sit with their tea dragons, talking to each other and sipping tea and I would be here for it 100%.

As always, O’Neill’s artwork is fantastic. Each page is gorgeous and relaxed. Beautiful colors, adorable details, and pure heart emanate from every corner of this book.

This one was especially fun as it allows the reader to catch up on the characters presented in the first two volumes. It felt like being reunited with old friends. This gentle fantasy series is so immersive and beautiful. A wonderful series that speaks to the problems of the outside world while letting the reader safely explore the mystical realm of tea dragons.

This volume deals with heavy emotions and conflicts such as the loss of a loved one, a loss of purpose, and the pain of feeling powerless to help someone. These issues are expertly balanced, making the reader feel them without being overwhelmed. Each character deals with their own struggle, coming together to help one another grow and make progress on their journey.

Such a lovely work. There is a finality to this one, but honestly I could never tire of the world and characters O’Neill has created. They have such a talent for pulling in the reader, showing them a new world, and letting them explore their creation.

At the end of this volume is a section of “Extracts from The Illustrated History of Tea Dragons” which includes information on the first tea dragon as well as on tea dragon biology, varieties, and temperaments. It was a joy to learn more about the world and systems O’Neill has created and this inclusion added to the immersive quality of the book.

Fantastic read. Cannot recommend this series enough.
