An nice introduction to the Wheel of the Year, its different spokes, and holidays and activities associated with each. While this is aimed at children, the book also works for adults looking for ways to connect to nature and discover their own inner magic.

Each section includes an overview of the season, past and present holidays that coincide with the season from around the world, a scavenger hunt, altar ideas, rituals, and related recipes, crafts, and other activities. Some of these include making your own amulets, building henges, drying herbs, making flower crowns, and practicing candle magic.

At the start, readers are instructed on how to make an altar and given tips for starting a journal. Throughout the rest of the book, ideas are given on how to add to these during each of the seasons.

The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous. Soft and textured.

Well-written with a great variety of tasks.

A great book to reference all year. Nice way to connect to nature and spirituality, and promote personal growth and reflection.
