Hooked from the first page and it got even better from there.
I absolutely loved this book. Loved everything about it: the concept, the characters, and most importantly the amazing messages about the value of differences.
The authors do an wonderful job creating an engaging world with strong messages that do not come off as cheesy. The characters struggle with where they fit in with the magical world in a way that is very relatable.
But it’s not all life lessons and a push for inclusivity. There is also plenty of fun along the way, with magical antics, powers gone awry, and some very creative thinking.
A great read that is both fun and inspiring. Well-written and engaging. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series and see how the movie adaptation compares.
