In this mammoth of a book, Randall Munroe proves that with enough math, everything eventually explodes.

A hilarious, entertaining, interesting, and fascinating read exploring oddly specific questions you never thought to ask. The book blends mathematics, science, and history to create an extraordinary journey (with plenty of things blowing up along the way).

Complete with xkcd-style comics and drawings, this was such a fun read. It covers a broad range of topics, including lightning, cooking steak by dropping it, movie reenactments, social media, Lego bridges, neutron bullets, self-fertilization, and flyover states, just to name a few.

A great read, especially for science geeks looking for more than your average physics and technology book.
