A raw, hard look at life from a variety of perspectives. This gut-wrenching collection takes vivid imagery, delightful wordplay, and a delicate balance of the beautiful and ugly, smashes them all together and comes out better for it. These poets dive deep and put everything on display in this collection of transformation.

This is my second collaboration with Casey Renee Kiser (shout out to 433 Lighted Way). This collection features my poems, “Black Hole”, “The Dark”, “Deleted Scenes”, “Beautiful”, and “The Finish”.

As always, it’s a pleasure to read anything Casey writes. Everything she does is pure fire. I was also thrilled to be exposed to other poets I had not previously read. This is E. A. Bleak’s debut publication and I am in awe of her talent for words and crafting poetry. Her contributions, “Welcome Home” and “Flying Things” were among my favorites in this collection. A few of my other favorites include Casey’s “Ballad of The Gas Station Check-out Girl” and “Thx for the Pain/I Need it For My Wings”.

A killer collection of great talent sure to delight those looking to see past the pretty illusion of life and feel the heat of its innerworkings.
