I grew up loving The New Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley. I honestly didn’t even realize they started as The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley.
This is the first I’ve read in this series. After seeing there was a mystery featuring sharks, I knew I had to start with this one.
The Olsen and Olsen Detective Agency return to Sea World with their family and are on the hunt for a mystery. They find one in the most unexpected of places… the shark tanks. Rumors circulate that the sharks can sing. The twins don’t believe it… until they hear it themselves. But the more they look into the mystery, the fishier things get. Will they find an explanation for Sea World’s singing sharks?
The story itself is pretty far-fetched but it was an engaging read.
I especially enjoyed the science of sound waves worked in and the detective elements like decoding messages. Includes some fun shark facts as well.
The writing is pretty straight-forward.
There are full-color photos from the TV episode with a summary of the events from the book. Includes a template at the back to make your own Super-Duper Snooper Decoder.
An interesting read. I liked the shark elements. A weird mystery but still a fun read.
