5 stars This is such an adorable book! I wasn’t sure how this book would go when I picked it up at the library. I just recently read [Circle Rolls] and didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. The cover of this one reminded me of the other book so I was…

3 stars Cute book. Nice story. I didn’t know much about Puppy Dog Pals going into this, but we are teaching one of the kids I work with about various kids’ shows so I checked this one out of the library. Adorable illustrations. The story is fairly simple and ties up neatly at the end….

4 stars   Overall, a fun and entertaining read. Similar to Don’t Eat the Teacher!, this book describes a little T-Rex’s first few days of school and how she struggles to make friends. First off, I liked that the T-Rex was a girl. I feel like so many children’s books features dinosaurs (especially carnivores like the…

3 stars A very cute book all about Unikitty. This book goes through the basic plot of The Lego Movie while following Unikitty and her part in the story. Various aspects of the story are presented such as Unikitty’s castle, what happens when she’s angry, and the team’s epic battle to bring down Lord Business….

4 stars I enjoyed this book. It is perfect for young perfectionists. The book demonstrates that it is okay to make mistakes, you can just say “oopsie-do” and fix them. Whether its cleaning up something you spilled, mopping up muddy footprints, or making the most out of mixed colors while painting, there is usually a…

4 stars I loved this book! First off, it is freaking gorgeous. Secondly, it is just so well-written and amazing. Some of this history was a review for me since I’ve read all of the Deltora books, but it was cool to have all of the mythology/history all in one place. It is basically The Silmarillion of…

3 stars Entertaining book for Ninja Turtle fans. This book basically goes through a brief backstory and how they met April. The illustrations are entertaining with a few fights scenes (and an epic explosion!). The story is pretty simple, but entertaining. I picked this book up from the library to look at with a kid…

2 stars This was an okay read. Liz Climo did a fantastic job with the illustrations. I love the way she balanced simplicity with detail. They are very cute and entertaining. The story itself starts off funny enough. Elephant has an itch and asks multiple animals for help. As the story progresses, Elephant gets more…

3 stars Cute book. I didn’t like it as much as the first one, but it was still a very entertaining read. In this book, Olga speculates where Meh came from and dreams of going into space to find others of Meh’s kind. While doing so, Olga gives the reader interesting facts about space and…

5 stars This is one of those books that you could literally spend hours looking at. So much to explore and find. Perfect for car trips or waiting rooms. Each page is dedicated to a letter of the alphabet and has its own theme (D for dinosaurs, which has a different dinosaur for each letter…
