4 stars A fantastic bedtime story that is a little bit scary and a lot a bit fun. Great for kids who like monsters. Simple illustrations and text, that make up a hilarious, entertaining read. This will be an instant favorite to be read again and again. It’s a nice, quick book sure to delight….

3 stars Well, that certainly wasn’t what I was expecting. In this slightly creepy wintery story, Marshall is convinced that gingerbread cookies can’t run, until the evidence suggests otherwise. At first I thought it would be a cute story about hunting for the missing cookies that the teacher hid. But it kind of turns into…

2 stars Warning: I just had my morning coffee, so prepare for a long review. Well, that got real weird real fast. I picked up this audiobook at the library because it had a blue mouse on the cover and how can you mess that up? Apparently it’s possible. This is basically a bubbly, less…

3 stars A perfect Level One book for fans of PJ Masks. Simple story that is entertaining and has a good moral. The book is a little disjointed because of the easy-to-read style, but it still works. Fun pictures that are sure to delight young readers who enjoy the show.

2 stars I really enjoy these two books in one things. Very cool idea. Overall, the stories are okay. It’s good for early readers who like Paw Patrol, but neither story is amazing. Thoughts on Break the Ice: Cute story. It is simple and entertaining. I feel like I watched an Octonauts episode where essentially…

3 stars A good Paw Patrol tale. The story is fun and interesting. There is enough of that near-danger element that so fascinates children (and adults). It is kind of text heavy, but the pictures are entertaining as well. I did like that the octopus gets glasses at the end, it was a great motivator…

2 stars Cute story about a mysterious egg hunt. Overall, it was entertaining enough. It’s an old school Sherlock Holmes style story, which might confuse children in my opinion. Why is Pablo wearing that funny hat? What’s a butler? And why would Tyrone want to be the butler in a playtime activity? But nevertheless, interesting…

4 stars I found a few of these Jump into Science books in the Little Free Lending Library. I work with children and they ended up being perfect books to focus mini-lessons around. A very informative read with a lot of great pictures. The book is a bit wordy so I wouldn’t recommend for very…

4 stars Another great book in the Jump Into Science series. I really enjoyed this one. As a kid, I was terrified of earthquakes. I didn’t realize that here in Wisconsin, we don’t really get big earthquakes. Part of my irrational fear was all of the books and movies that make all earthquakes seem like…

4 stars I love the Jump Into Science series. The books are a great focal point for teaching children various things about out Earth and the solar system. As with the other books, I would recommend this book for older children. It is very text-heavy with a lot of information. It does contain great pictures…
