Nice illustrations, but I was really confused by the story. This is obviously an adaptation of a show, but it is a really vague one.

This is a Step 2 book, which is recommended for preschool to first grade readers. It use simple words, short sentences, and easy-to-understand stories to help those learning to read. I think because of this, the story is too simplified to the fact that it doesn’t really make much sense.

I did like the emphasis on friendship and helping others, but it seemed like a big plot point was blatantly missed (hello? where the heck is Grand Pabbie?).

Little Rock is definitely a cutie and the pictures are very fun, but there is just not a full story here.
