This is actually my favorite Speed Bump & Slingshot Misadventure book because it is a great blend of educational and humorous. There are a lot of animal facts woven into the story (opossums playing dead, seventeen-year cicadas life cycles). As with the previous books in the series, this is a fun and entertaining read that is a nice bridge between picture books and chapter books by combining hilarious illustrations, speech bubbles, and block text.
Very funny and easy-to-read, this is a good book for hesitant readers or those who want a good laugh.
