A cute holiday book for fans of the minions. Phil feels bad that he stranded his friends on an island and they are missing Christmas. So he decides to make it up to them by bringing Christmas to them. A cute story. I’m usually not a huge fan of Christmas books (because I’m a Grinch, I know), but this one is not over-the-top Christmas-y. I do think there is a missed opportunity with the whole true-meaning-of-Christmas thing. This just makes it seem like Christmas is just about presents and snow and gingerbread minions. At least put in a line about the importance of friendship or something. But it was still a cute story.
